Chad Vaughn on the Squat Part 3

Front Squat:

  • Frankenstein Front Squat as first progression to force the best possible FS position
  • regular Front Squat with clean grip
  • grip width: thumb width outside of the knurling or index finger 1-2 inches outside of the shoulders when in front rack position
  • drive elbows in and up as much as you can
Back Squat:
  • high bar, of course, position the bar as high as you can
  • elbows back and up to create a solid shelf, pokes chest out
Overhead Squat:
