Hysen Pulaku 150kg Clean + Overhead Squat

Finally a new Hysen Pulaku clip!

Watch this super smooth combination. 150kg Clean + Overhead Squat. Thruster 2.0?

Hysen lifting the equivalent of an NFL offensive lineman, like Holly Mangold’s brother, Nick, of the NY Jets, over his head and then squatting. How many NFL players could do this? Zero. (via)

Oh, and while we’re talking Podium Weightlifting Club…

Mike Nackoul visited and made a couple of PRs good lifts.

I believe Mike has done 145 kg snatch earlier this year and a 186 C&J at the 2011 Junior Worlds.  Must be tough finding training time while you’re fighting for a 4.0 GPA at MIT.

You are right. I just googled this:
      http://tech.mit.edu/V132/N25/olympics.html

Didn’t know he was at MIT. How many hours does his day have??

i was at collegiate nationals a year ago and i had not yet heard of him. anyways, they announce this guy for the first lift and that he’s from MIT, and the first thing he does is he tells the loaders they put on the incorrect weight. this guy can lift big weights and do math!

i’m always impressed how people find the time to do the things they love if they have the discipline. i have a friend who is a medical resident who works 80 hrs a wk and still finds the time to lift 3x/wk and watch weightlifting videos on youtube

          No excuses then.

I sometimes come across people who ask me how often I train. When I say I am training doing 4-5 days a week they tell me “Wow, I just don’t have the time”.

          Exuses, excuses!

It’s all a matter of how much you want it.

Gregor how do you slow down playback on youtube video again? Thanks

    • GregorATG

Go to http://www.youtube.com/html5 and join the trial.

The your youtube player sill have the option to set playback speed (click the sprocket where you normally set video quality)

That’s a pretty asinine quote. By the same reasoning, how many olympic weightlifters could record a sack in the NFL? Zero.
