Di Pasquale is an interesting guy. In the 1960s he systematized low / high-carb cycling into the “Anabolic Solution”. And his athletic background is also quite impressive.
He is a former powerlifter who won the world championships in powerlifting in 1976, and the World Games in the sport of powerlifting in 1981. He was an eight-time Canadian champion, and two-time Pan American and North American champion. He was also the first Canadian powerlifter to become a World Champion and first Canadian powerlifter to total 10 times bodyweight in any weight class. Pasquale is the only Canadian to ever total ten times bodyweight in two weight classes.
