This is from a little training camp currently being hosted by @spencergarnold of @powerandgraceperformance Snatch from the blocks is a great way to work on speed in the second pull (or the more explosive phase of the lift) without having to worry about positioning off the floor. These are a great addition to a program for a little variety in training the snatch! Just make sure your lifts from the blocks replicate the positions you hit (or should be hitting) in your lifts from the floor—in short, be like Kate and make each lift look the same! #snatch #olympicweightlifting #slowmotion #snatchfromblocks
