DIY Micro Weights

May 5, 2012 By Gregor Winter

Light weight baby! A redditor shows what he uses for micro loading.

Three nuts (=200g) per batch. So he can increase the weight by 400g to break through a plateau.

Now there are a lot of people in the thread suggesting a routine change instead of micro loading. This would probably be the best advice. But why not squeeze every last bit (if he is using  linear progression)?

My smallest plates are 0.5kg and I think these little guys are really useful, especially on ovherhead press days.

Get fancy with your gym bling bling.
