Jim Wendler has 5 tips to improve your overhead press

  1. Use a false grip – better bar path
  2. Hold the bar in the shelf of your lats – be stronger at the bottom
  3. View it as a total body lift – keep your body tight, squeeze your glutes
  4. Use volume to get stronger – do a heavy set, then multiple sets of 10. 
  5. Make it a priority
