Fabian Hambüchen Comeback on High Bar

August 8, 2011 By Gregor Winter

29 weeks after tearing his achillis tendon Fabian Hambüchen competed in the German Bundasliga and won the high bar with a score of 16.65 and difficulty 7.5. His routine included a Kolman and a new Jaeger with a full twist.

You can see a little bit of his high bar routine here.

During the 200+ days he spent 40 hours per week on training and rehabilitation. 8 hours more than on his usual training schedule.
