Here is some nice work by a redditor visualizing what muscles are getting activated by various exercises.

“Using ExRx and Google Body Browser I made some visualizations of what muscle groups are activated in different exercises. Body browser doesn’t have the option to highlight stabilizers differently but this does give you a good overview. I am thinking about turning this into a tool where you can click a muscle to get a list of exercises which target it etc. thought?” (source)
