Use Leftover Rice to make a Crispy Snack

If you didn’t plan ahead and made the recently mentioned rice balls, here is what you can do with your leftover rice.

  • put an exactly(!) 1.27cm (0.5 inch) layer of rice rice in a non sticking pan
  • use sticky Asian style rice, short grain or medium grain (basmati isn’t sticky enough)
  • cook until each side is golden brown and crusty
  • serve with hot sauce or fried eggs
