There’s a lot of strong guys from China and Khetag Khugaev will be competing again! Hopefully he recovered fully from his injuries.

looks like the Latvian duo is going too. I like how their team is so small yet they have medalists.

I wanna see vyacheslav yarkin !!! Where is he?

      June 17, 2016 at 10:35

His last name is written like “Iarkin” here. Btw, there’s Iranian competitor called Reza Zadeh. I wonder if he is relative to Hossein

    Is ATG going to Tbilisi?

I noticed a few lifters from Columbia with decent totals. Is this country now producing great lifters? Any idea who the coaches are?

Uh… Sona Poghosyan of Armenia is asking for a starting weight of 320 total and she’s in the women’s -75kg class? LOL So if she does less than 300, she’s DQ’d? haha that’s some typo!

    • Gregor says

      June 17, 2016 at 19:19

Remember these numbers don’t mean anything at the moment. You will have to wait for final verification for the real entry totals.

        June 17, 2016 at 19:38

Still hilarious. Even if these were the real entry totals, and I was in charge, I’d let her change it cus it’s clearly a typo! Like Liao Hui getting DQ’d cus he accidentally put a total of 3500 instead of 350 LOL

Its 15kg for women, so she would have to do 305 to make a total.

I may sound like a broken record but THANK YOU GREGOR for making this broadcast available.
I was looking at the physique of lifters and I can tell you many have not abused their bodies with drugs. Future of our sport could be insured if this continues.

62 kg: Fernando Barrera 125 + 157 from Group B. Someone thought his declared weights are not real.

By far the best weightlifting streaming yet….How expensive would it be for us North Americans to stream like what is coming out of Georgia?
