Behdad Salimi Interview about the Olympics

July 12, 2012 By Gregor Winter

If you like reading through a Google translated interview, check out this one with Behdad Salimi.

Olympic records will increase

I go on the platform with a foot (leg?) injury

The result will be better than Sydney Olympics

85 kg category, will be decided between Sohrab and Kianoush.

Will go to London a couple of days before the comp (not one month like last year’s worlds)

London rivals are Sajjad Anoushiravani and Matthias Steiner.

The goal is for all Iranians to reach the Olympic gold medal

Everyone of the 6 Iranians was drug tested

You think its any different for china who have 10x more more money-or any country for that matter-?   Either way wada still does the best job they can to make it hard on them to do w/e they want.  Anyways look forward to him competing but I hope the russian beats him but likely wont happen.  If he is 100% healthy he will dominate though but I don’t think he is.

From the last question of the interview he plans to do 473kg.

“Before you announced that you intend to break the Olympic record, you’re still on your letter? If you decide what to do weights in control?

I move the weights 213 kg and 260 kg Ykzrb Dvzrb move to take over. These two weights 473 kg will be more than one kilogram of the Olympic record.”

I think if he had said nothing, you probably would have said the opposite.

Love Behdad!!! The american coach for the olympic weight lifting team called Behdad a pure talent. He said that Behdad is bigger, stronger and faster than everyone else and if he had lived in the US he would play in the NFL!!!
