Hotel Room Workout – DIY Pull Up Handles

August 26, 2011 By Gregor Winter

While it’s easy to get some pressing movements done when you are on the road, it often is not that easy to find a way to do some pulling movements.

Ross Enamait shows you how to build portable pull up handles that will get the job done.

Because of the way your forearms will the pressed against the door, this will really isolate the biceps / arm flexors when doing pull ups with supinated grip.

So there are no more excuses for not getting a complete hotel room workout done next time you are on the road.

Great idea! It would be interesting to see this same door-frame attachment system implemented with some gymnastics rings… The adjustable strap lengths would give you a portable "stall-bar" for the road!
