Mikko Aronpää CrossFit Athlete

July 24, 2011 By Gregor Winter

Mikko Aronpää, a 27-year-old athlete out of Finland, is a great example of how strong you can get even working out on your own.

He has finished in the Top 15 in Europe for each of the Open workouts and qualified as one of the three men representing Europe in the 2011 CrossFit Games.

Aronpää, a former track and field athlete at the national level, has competed in diverse events including the long jump, triple jump, 100m, 200m, 400m, and decathlon. In this video, Aronpää talks about the Open.
