Ronnie Coleman’s First Powerlifting Meet

September 5, 2012 By Gregor Winter

Here is a video of Ronnie Coleman’s at his first powerlifting competition.

1994 was the year.  Already huge as a rock.

Also in the video is Roy Mason who holds the 60+ record in the 165 lbs with a 545 lbs deadlift (1987).

I believe roy is 145lbs there and lifting 220 or 240kg by the sound of it he is around 76 years old in this video. Very cool video I wish I can continue to lift until I’m old, I remember an old video of a former olympic lifting champion squatting like 400+lbs at near 80 years old also I will try to find it and post it.

wtffffff thats amazing?!?! ill be lucky to squat myself out of a damn chair at 77 let alone lift that! very impressive…you should probably wear a belt for that at age 77 tho dude, to protect whats left of your spine :[ (no disrespect)

this was a comment left on the 77yr old squat. idiot doesnt realize the reason his spine is so good is because he squats. people like that piss me off to no end
