Deadlift with Band On the Hip

Marc Keys talks you through a neat little drill for staying on heels in deadlifts.

Attach a band to your belt and have it pull you slightly forward.

Since you have to counter that forward pull it will ingrain the need for staying on your heels and opening the hips at the nearest moment.

    So when you are inititating a pull you should be driving through your heals? WRONG

      For deadlift I think you might find that’s the case.

      unless you have the fast chinese pulling style haha then the band will get in the way. other than that i would say it should be a great idea
