Dmitry Klokov is back at a 225kg Clean & Jerk at 108.2kg bodyweight.
He promised it a while back saying that this would be a seasonal best.
Before the lift he says he wants to finish off July with a good weight before he goes to a different training camp (a new one in Istra).

I want him to C&J 240 or above! I hope he’s not gonna retire until it happens 🙂 He could do it.
He has done 242 kg on video in training in 2006. I think it was a freak lift for him at the time in training though as his best contest lift around the time was like 227kg. He has slowing gotten better over the years despite his injuries having his best clean and jerk at the 2011 world championships. I think he will see at least 230 in training this year. .
What is the specific kind of tape he and others use on their thumbs? I’ve seen it in several videos, and it doesn’t really look like traditional athletic tape. It looks more like some kind of web-roll or something. I want some. If I had it, I’m pretty sure I’d be breaking records.

They are from ironman.ru. Good luck getting them as far as I know they do not ship outside of Russia.
I really really want a pair – someone must export them!
I have found a few other websites that also sell them. Unfortunately like ironman.ru they do not ship outside of the Russian Federation. But if you do happen to find a company that does please let me know.

Are those knee sleeves pulled down or calf sleeves?
His knee sleeves pulled down… he is seen in many of his videos with them already pulled down, pulling them down, or pulling them up.
They are Rehband 7953 (3mm) knee sleeves for those who are curious.
