Ivan Markov at SV Germania Obrigheim vs KSV Durlach Bundesliga

December 8, 2013 By Gregor Winter

Meanwhile in Germany …

1.5 months after the 2013 Worlds Ivan Markov is still in competition shape.

At the Bundesliga meet between SV Germania Obrigheim and  KSV Durlach he went 167+203.

You could probably wake him up at 2 in the morning any day during the year and he would still total around 370kg.

Same after the 2013 Europeans. Two weeks after the comp (where he got a 375 total) he lifted at the Bundesliga final where he did 370kg – So two 370 performances in two weeks in two countries. (Thanks Markus)

  • Bodyweight: 84.9kg
  • Snatch: 160kg, x165kg, 167kg
  • Clean and Jerk: 190kg, 197kg, 203kg

And yes, Bundesliga athletes get tested.

Filed Under: clean and jerk, snatch, videos, weightlifting

I remember that Stefan Botev missed his flight from Bulgaria and he drove instead of flying. After about 1500 km of driving he easily lifted 400 kg.
