Excited to see how this turns out! Hopefully they put it on the IWF youtube channel after the premier or maybe even stream as it goes out (probably wishful thinking :))

In their effort to promote the sport the IWF will give out the movie to TV stations around the world for free. So it might take a while before it hits youtube.

Hopefully some big stations give it some air time it would be great exposure for the sport. I am really optimistic for the future of weightlifting. I’m not much of a crossfit fan but credit where credit is due they’ve exposed this sport to a massive audience. Dmitry Klokov is also doing great things is promoting the sport too!

Hopefully this film is a sign that the IWF is recognizing the huge potential there is to get this sport more widely exposed.

I wish they showed more videos of Chinese, Kazakhstan, North Korean, Iranian guys lifting. But these countries don’t put as many high quality videos on Youtube as Russians do. And they don’t have Klokov.

Surely the IWF has produced their own video material for this documentary. I’m pretty sure they visited several trainings camps in different countries and met different people. It should be obvious why they have chosen Klokov for the teaser though 🙂

Might be good if they gonna put it on their youtube channel right after the premiere…

Might be worth asking the IWF to put it up on youtube.

No updates, the process is still going as outlined above. It will be given to TV channels so they can show something exclusive. This will take time.
