He will be win gold in Rio.
He’s gonna fight Lasha for it.
So Lovchev is officially out and cannot compete. If so, once again another Olympics where the biggest name is not competing. If Lovchev can’t compete, Lasha will win, I think.
IWF refuses to answer following straight forward questions:
Did LOVCHEV caught using banned drugs?
Is he still consider to be 2015 world champion and WR holder?
Can he participate in Rio?
Compromise:
It seems there is behind a scene dealing going on. They may remove his championship and records but let him participate in Rio.

the name of Lovchev still is in the world records of IWF site. I don’t know if this mean something about RIO.
I would love to see Albegov win in Rio. But Lasha is on the ascendency. He should break the snatch record if he has the form he had at the Europeans and probably jerk at least 250.
If Albegov can snatch 210 as he has on several occasions and hit a big jerk of 260 or so he has a shot.
Still, Albegov is a fighter with tons of heart so he’s got his chances
I am very impressed how constant Alebegov lifts. He always can lift 200+ in the snatch and 255+ in the jerk. No matter who he is facing in Rio, he will be performing well.
