All done at 73.72kg bodyweight.
Update 25.09.2015: Slow Motion of the 211kg Clean!
Olympic and World Champion Liao Hui (-77kg, China) cleaning 211kg/465lb at the 2015 IWF Grand Prix in China. He only weighed 73.72kg/162.5lb as he is still a 69kg lifter and he just didn’t bother to cut for this competition. He also snatched 170kg/375lb — we’ll have that video posted shortly. And it’s also worth noting that this was an attempt to break the long-standing 210kg -77kg C&J world record.
-69kg snatch world record holder Liao Hui (73.72kg/162.5lb, China) snatching 170kg/375lb. He made 166kg as a 69kg lifter last November at the 2014 WWC. In an interview with us he said he hopes to one day make this weight as a 69 — he is not moving up to 77, he just competed overweight at this competition because there was no reason to cut weight.
