George Leeman 802lb x 6 Deadlift in the Living Room

May 22, 2012 By Gregor Winter

This was submitted via the Got Input? page.

802lb x 6 Deadlift @ 21 y/o, 290lb bodyweight.

I only know he is a member on bodybuilding.com but this is 3 reps off of what Poundstone did with the same weight.

Update: Thanks to Luis, who pointed out that this is babyslayer aka George Leeman. Here is an interview from 2011 with him.

This guy started posting on T-Nation like over  5 years ago as “N3WB.” He was fat and pretty strong for a teenager but nothing as crazy as this. He went absolutely crazy bulking and in I guess 2009 or 2010 got up to like 400 pounds BW, squatting 705 to parallel and benching 405 for about 10. Even back then when he was fat he was still one of the strongest teenagers on the planet. Then he switched on the hard dieting, dropped down to 290 and turned out to be very symmetrical even though he pretty much just trained heavy with loose form. Since then he got real lean and went to like 240-250. Now he’s gone back up in BW but stayed lean, and without the thick waist he used to have in his Fat days he’s having a lot easier time Deadlifting.

      Thanks for the background infos.

Man that was quite a journey…400 pounds BW WTF!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H13joUy6gG4&feature=plcp         Yeah that’s him a few years ago! (he must have put it up again, it was more than 6 months ago).           On that account is also his 405X15 Bench and 405X15 Rows he did while younger and fatter. As far as I know all his bulking was the result of force feeding and actually intentional – just get as strong as possible as fast as possible aesthetics and health be damned then leaned out once he got absurdly strong. These days it doesn’t seem like he really struggles at all with manipulating his BW.

Talk about dedication. Makes me wonder if some of the fat people I see at work are secretly super strong powerlifters.

well he has used peds both for his cut and his recent bulk but yeah was deadlifting almost 700lbs at 17 for reps with a very large waist which made it difficult to deadlift so not surprising he put on 100lbs in his deadlift over the last 4 years with the help of peds as well.  He has been very dedicated since he was about 13 or so when he started weightlifting and was not afraid to get fat to be strong.

Almost the best thing about this video is how he is deadlifting in the living room.
That is an impressive feat of strength for any venue.

Also love how they had to tape the weights. This is as “home gym” as it gets.
