Damn it! Really wanted to see Nurudinov at this years Worlds 🙁 (assuming he doesnt recover until then).
    Awesome snatch by Efremov though!

Ricky will see Ruslan in a training camp in October. He will ask about his situation and worlds participation then.

Damn it .. really! Another epic battle we won’t get to see 🙁 Best wishes to Ruslan for a quick recovery! However, a severe knee injury means the end of a weighlifters career in many cases. Let’s hope everything turns out well.

Nurudinov suprised me again and again. When first looking at him I didn’t think he will be that good. And then he was even better. And with each competition he improved dramatically. Weightlifting podcast has a nice interview with him. I hope he recovers soon.

What was the result of the CnJ for Efremov?

Good question, I just asked Ricky. He said he did “230 easy” and “He wanted to go 240kg but coach didn’t let him”. Videos follow.

Good news, let’s hope we’ll see Nurudinov and Ilyin on the same platform. I’m also hoping for an Aramnau back in decent shape.
