June 7, 2012 By Gregor Winter

Bill Hartman shows some Cuboid mobilization to increase dorsiflexion.

Of course, the good ol’ lacrosse ball can get the job done as well.

now here is one really stupid question. Why should i be interested in increasing my range of motion in the ankle? Where do i get Problems if i don´t got enough range ?

      Squats.

I for example have extremely limited ankle range of motion (I get barely more than 90degrees without my heels rising)

Edit: like the guy in this video, maybe even worse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFa8EKhagvQ

I have to do squats with oly shoes and small 0.5kg below my heels to get depth.

It’s so simple. Let’s say squatting. Anything related to movements use the legs.

The change in range of motion is extraordinary
