Ray Williams 363kg Squat x5

March 1, 2013 By Gregor Winter

Ray Williams, who will get a new bar thanks to the power of reddit, squats a set of five with 363kg (800lbs).

With the new Texas Squat Bar so the 1000lbs will happen. No doubt.

I don’t get why they bought him that bar. If his goals are to battle for the chance to represent the USA at the IPF Classic world cup, he’ll never be able to use a Texas Squat Bar in competition. They would have been better off buying him a Quest power bar for $285 and some thin 50kg ivanko plates so he could train with the same equipment he’d compete with.
