February 13, 2014 By Gregor Winter

Meanwhile in Egypt …

Mohamed Ehab (69kg) is now up to a 212kg Front Squat (205kg last time).

See kids, that’s how you do triple+ bodyweight Front Squats.

Update: YouTube Version

Post by Mohamed Ehab.

He also did the ever so popular “Clean + Front Squat + Jerk” complex with 170kg.

170kg is around 92% of his 1RM C&J (185kg)

Insane front squat! The ratio of the CJ complex to front squat is even more impressive when you realize that on the complex he doesn’t have knee wraps; one the 212 front squat those look closer to a powerlifting-esque wrap, especially when you notice he quickly reaches down to unwrap his knees after the squat, as though the wraps are tight enough to be uncomfortable: not the sort of thing you’d leave on for an entire workout.
