Zach Krych Snatch Training From Low Blocks

September 1, 2011 By Gregor Winter

Here is some footage of Zach Krych‘s recent Snatch training.

In case you don’t know Zach’s story I highly recommend watching the second video below. It is a definite testament that will power and dedication can overcome the biggest obstacles.

In February 2009 he broke both of his wrists while cleaning with straps. Doctors called it a “Devastating injury” and told him that he would no be able to lift heavy things overheard in the future.

Little did they know.

After months of rehab he started training at square one and steadily improved his lifts. And it paid off.

He won Gold (152 kg Snatch, 192 kg Clean and Jerk) in the 85kg weight class at the 2010 National Weightlifting Championships.
