Rebeka Koha Training Hall 2017 World Weightlifting Championships

Here is a quick training hall edit of 19 year old Rebeka Koha in the training hall at worlds 2017.

I didn’t have enough footage to make a full session video (with all sets etc.). Hence today you get a training session compiled into a 3 minute video.

  • Snatch 90kg
  • Clean & Jerk 105kg
  • Clean Pulls 120kg
  • Rounded Back Deadlifts 85kg
  • Back Squat 130kg
  • Squat Jumps
  • Weighted Push Ups
  • V-Ups Sit Ups

About those rounded back deadlifts. Coach Eduards Andruskevics told me he likes them, because in addition to all the weightlifting specific exercises that usually require isometric strength (keeping the back straight), it’s important to train the full range of motion of a muscle (from rounded – full stretch, to full contraction) in addition to all. Use light weights and caution.
